Gently now, Sea Queen
Little
white teeth are coming
To
salt the velvet
What
was once gently,
Softly
held in boiling folds
A
whisper touch
Spill
the bitter fruit
A
little red bursting open
Lick it sweet again
I look forward to seeing your cover letter accompanying this piece. As a non-poet, myself, i have trouble seeing below the meter and the imagery (both of which i love) to trace what you meant to do with this piece. I love what you did with the workshop in this case!
